Terri Symington, ASID is a Texas State Registered Interior Designer. 

It takes much more than education and experience to become an excellent designer… it requires the innate ability to “see” and “feel” what a space could become… even when the space merely exists on paper…

Interior design is much more than the selection of pretty things to be arranged in a space… it is a multi-dimensional process. The space must be viewed as a whole because nothing exists in isolation.  The architectural interest of the space (or lack of it) as well as the existing natural light begin the process into which a designer must create balance with: …scale, proportions, lights, shadows, shapes, textures, compositions, colors, style and details… all things that are seen in the designer’s minds eye… and then presented with a clear vision to the client.

Terri’s designs are an interpretation of the clients' desires into uniquely individual spaces; integrating architectural and interior design solutions.  When possible, working with a client before the client engages in any remodeling or new construction creates the best results.  Her designs are a classic blend of styles and periods to create atmospheres that are original, inviting, comfortable and functional with results that exceed the client’s expectations. 

In addition to studying fine art and interior design, Terri has drawn upon a lifetime of passions and experiences… from being a member of a modern jazz/ ballet company, to fashion illustrator to an art director with a well known fashion and home furnishings catalog… into becoming an award winning interior designer.   “It is an accumulation of my experiences and my curiosity and desire to keep learning that defines who I am as a designer today… and I look forward to the possibilities.”

Terri currently resides in the beautiful rolling hills of Brenham, Texas and serves clients throughout Texas and other states.
