Vieux Interiors was created out of sheer passion for cutting edge style with an emphasis on European antique furnishings. The store opened its warehouse doors in Houston, May 2007, to a windfall of accolades and enthusiastic applause from local designers. “It wasn’t always in the plan for Vieux to be off the beaten path, in an obscure building, on one of Houston’s quieter streets.” Vieux’s owner, Marty Bratton, confesses. Originally, there was a retail location selected on hip and stylish Washington Ave., but due to construction delay’s and an urging from local designers, it was settled that the warehouse, which had been intended for storage and staging, would be the debut location for this new company.

Now that they have settled in to the rhythm of the stores unique character, the focus is on creating and maintaining fabulous style with killer furnishings. You’ll find wonderful French antiques mixed with English pieces juxtaposed to some of the most luxurious brands in pillows, lamps, and accessories. The mix is the magic of this store’s charm, and for those of you who are not able to visit the Houston location, you can now view the store’s merchandise on-line on Vieux’s website.
