Orchid Obsession is a grower, wholesaler and retailer of locally grown, high quality, reasonably priced orchids, bromeliads and other tropical plants. The orchid growing began as a hobby about thirteen years ago and in 2005, the company was formed. Since then, we have been selling orchids and other tropical plants wholesale to nurserys, florists, real estate brokers and interior designers, and retail at farmers markets, art festivals, craft shows, holiday markets, antique shows like Houston Urban Market, Mercer Arboretum plant sales, garden club meetings, etc.
Orchid Obsession does not have a physical storefront at this time (hopefully not too far off in the future, however) but we can be found most every Saturday morning from 8:00AM to Noon at the Bayou City Farmers Market, 3000 Richmond Ave., most every Sunday afternoon from Noon to 4:00PM at the Green Market at Discovery Green downtown and at least two Tuesdays a month at the Houston Farmers Market at Rice University from 3:00PM to 7:00PM.
